How to get the music out of the .dat file?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but i do know the music is compressed into a single .dat file, i was wondering if its possible to extract out the files so i could listen to each peice in PEACE without struggling with the music player trying to find the track i want to listen to.

This version of the games has a seperate cd with each of the music files on it as an extra!

All tracks are not on that CD, but there are extras apparently.

Besides, I for one, do not have that version of the game.
