Need some help

I have tried my hardest to ge the night fighter trait but cannot to save my life. I have even tried to cheat for the trait but I must be putting it in wrong. Can someone please tell me how to get it or how to type it in as a cheat.

P.S. do you also have to type in the person's full screen name (Councillor Bartolomeo the Scarred?)

The trait can be hereditary, but the most common way of gaining it is command stars. A general gains the trait when he has 4 stars of command, in all circumstances. Sometimes you'll have a trait that gives 2 stars when commanding infantry or cavalry, and the army will show those if the appropriate unit type is in the army. Those don't count. Traits and retinue that give flat +X command do count.

please help guys...I really want a night battle general in the campaign world.

I may be mistaken, but in BI I think you had to be attacked by night and successfully defend. not much you can do actively to get it.

Try playing after dark, when your wife's asleep, it helps getting a "good defender/night fighter" trait :laugh4:
