Relationship worsens?

Anyone else getting tired of the constant "Relationship worsens with so and so" when you are already at war? I mean, how much worse can it get? I even get the message when I relieve a seige, attack a blockading fleet, or attack an army in my territory.

On another note, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but if you are under Papal restriction from attacking another Catholic faction, it doesn't seem to apply if you are releiving a seige, attacking an army in you province, or ending a blockade. I really like that.

Yeah, I understand but I can't say it bothers me particularly...

They attack me and I successfully defend myself, it is hardly likely they are going to like me more... :laugh4:

Thanks for the defending yourself info, to be honest I had been waiting the enemy out or encouraging them to attack in in those situations.
