Behold, I give you Howard Stern's dream... a plane brought down by not terrorism, not mechanical malfuction but.... flatulence. (http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=40210) :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4:

The FBI questioned a passenger who admitted she struck the matches in an attempt to conceal body odor, Lowrance said. The woman lives near Dallas and has a medical condition.

Okay, did she sleep through the past 5 years? What the bloody hell...

So what are some of the dumb or sleazy things you all have done to hide your own uhm, "body odor". My worst one was blaming it on my poor old mom, who was asleep at the time. :shame:

My God. I have been possessed by Banquo. Stop with the mind control already, you ghostly git!

Look into my eyes, only my eyes, not around my eyes, into my eyes - and you're under.

I was dissapointed that the plane was brought down by suspected terror attack rather than the godawful stench. Now that would have been something.

Oh wow. I have no problem with that, I hold it in and let it out in a controlled and sealed environment, then leave quickly.

If I smelt matches on a flight I would probably think that someone was trying to have a sneaky smoke. Perhaps the staff could have found the person lighting the matches requested they not do it? Watch her more closely for the rest of the flight and if she had to be charged with a crime, then hand her over to the cops at the end of the line.

Living in fear sucks.

"American has banned her for a long time," Lowrance said.

:jumping:

Well they have certainly done her a favour there! Unless she uses Continental it would be difficult to find a more horrible airline anywhere in the world. :laugh4:

You've GOT to be joking. A sneaky smoke on an airplane, using matches to light their cigarette? Hello, Richard Reed?

Oh, stop being such a nervous-nelly Vlad. IronXMortlock is right... living in fear is for the birds. So what if 3 or 4 thousand people die every couple of years. Just smile along and whistle going past the graveyard.

No, I'm not joking. You know it wasn't that long ago that you were allowed to smoke on a plane. And guess what? There were terrorists back then too.

It works well to walk past someone, let one go and keep walking. You can blame it on them later.

This has taken to be called "crop dusting" among my friends and we've all gotten wise to it, so it's a sign of class to make a airplane sound as you walk by. Then again, we also play doorknob, and vehemently.

I fail to see the point you are trying to make.
