Temporary forts and the missile troops?

Is someone using temporary forts? Can the missile troops fire from them? Maybe only the archers can fire from inside, but xbowmen not?


BTW - Just found the ballista towers don't need troops on the walls to be manned. Even a cavalry staying nearby is enough the ballistas to fire.

A fort packed with artillery is always fun...
