I would like to know how to discover the American Continent during a play.

Wait until the discovery that the world is round not flat (as some believe even today :laugh4: ), gather a lot of troops and set sail.
Haven't been there myself yet but I hear its gives a nice trade income.

I've had the option come up a couple times in different campaigns but I've never sailed off to do the discovering. I believe it happens at around turn 140 (ish) or so, usually?
