A VERY Stupid Request

Greetings EB members,
Recently I have noticed that playing EB 0.8 comes with a lot of slow loads, like 0.74 only a little worse. Particularly when you want to start EB up and shut EB down. So to save time I am asking for a CTD. Yes a CTD. A button which you press in game that causes an instant CTD.

A little mad I know, but it would be really useful and it would stop me from waiting for it to take it's full 3.5 minutes to shut down.

Actually, a high priority shortcut would help. There are some tutorials available on the internet, but none of them are very helpful to the average user.
