Andrea Bocelli has such a masterpiece titled Con Te Partiro. Though it's been my long time favorite, I suddenly wanted to know what it tells. So any fellow Orgah can translate this for me ?

Quando sono solo
sogno all'orizzonte
e mancan le parole
si lo so che non c'è luce
in una stanza quando manca il sole
se non ci sei tu con me
Su le finestre
mostra a tutti il mio cuore
che hai acceso
chiudi dentro me
la luce che
hai incontrato per strada

Con te partirò -
Paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te
adesso sì li vivrò
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che io lo so
no, no, non esistono più
con te io li vivrò

Quando sei lontana -
sogno all'orizzonte
e mancan le parole
e io sì lo so
che sei con me
tu mia luna tu sei qui con me
mio sole tu sei qui con me
con me con me

Con te partirò -
Paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te
adesso sì li vivrò
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so
no, no, non esistono più
con te io li rivivrò v
Con te partirò -
su navi per mari
che, io lo so
no, no, non esistono più
con te io li rivivrò
Con te partirò
Io con te

Thanks in advance (hoping anyone who knws Italian will be interested in this)

Having an Italian GF gives me limited skills,

When they are alone they dream of the horizon
.... (no idea)
I know that there is not light
In a room where the sun is lacking
.... (no idea, something about six)
On the windows (?) I extend to you all my heart which you have ignited,
[you close within me] the light that you have met for/with (the) road (?)

.... (some crap about six and the horizon)
.... (no idea)
And yes I know to it six is with me(?)
You my moon, are six here with me (?)
You my sun, are six here with me (?)
With me with me

With you I will leave -
(To) Countries I have never
Seen or lived in with you
Yes I will now live in them
With you I will leave
On ships for seas,
I don't know of (I know nothing about)
No, No they do not exist any more
.... (hard to translate something about "with you, I will live in them again)
With you I will leave -
On ships for seas,
I don't know of (I know nothing about)
No, No they do not exist any more
With you I will leave them again
With you I will leave
Me with you

Hope that's useful.

Never underestimate the power of Google:

I'LL GO WITH YOU (Con te Partiro-English Translation)

When I'm alone
I dream on the horizon
And words fail
Yes, I know there is no light
In a room where the sun is absent
If you are not with me
At the windows
Show everone my heart
Which you set alight
Enclose within me
The light you
Encountered on the street

I'll go with you
To countries I newer
Saw and shared with you
Now, yes, I shall experience them
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer
With you I shall experience them

When you are far away
I dream on the horizon
And words fail
And yes, I know
That you are with me
You, my moon, are here with me
My sun, you are here with me

I'll go with you
To countries I never
Saw and shared with you
Now, yes, I shall experience them
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer
With you I shall experience them again
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer
With you I shall experience them again
I'll go with you
I with you

"I'll go with you to countries I never saw..."
Wouldn't be to difficult for him, if you ask me...
Edit: noticed that you can find a lot of similarities with latin, more than I expected I mean. Especially :"su navi per mari"

What a beatuiful language. Stuff likes this makes me wish i was taking Italian rather than Spanish.

Ice, I already speak Spanish, and having an Italian father, plan to go to Italy to learn it in my Gap year. I can pick up languages quite well.
And anyway what I was going to say is that Spanish is a very useful language. Wherever you go there will always be some use for it.

Yes, but, I have a strong link to my Italian heritage and my grandfather also speaks it pretty well. Italian would just have more value to me.
