That JIMJAM happy thoughts Pope

Why in good Jehupups name is wrong with that JIMJAM Pope in M2TW, He sends all his FIPLANG Inquisiters after my Family members and more often that not they Die via being burnt at the stake for Heresy. How In SADINUTRE do I stop the From dying and how do I make them gain piety.

You're not the only one who feels that Inquisitors in Medieval 2 are overpowered; I've seen quite a few complaints about them in the Citadel. They're apparently also pretty hard to kill--I've read a number of posts where members have failed to kill these guys, even using 8-9 star assains.

There is a bit of a cheat that some people use to destroy them, however; and if you played Rome TW, you might already be familiar with it. What you do is surround the Inquisitor with at least 1 army unit on each side of him, and then send in a 5th unit to occupy the space the Inq is currently standing on. Once the 5th army unit moves in the same space, the Inquisitor automatically "disappears" and is destroyed.

Yes, it's an imperfect solution, but it should work. Hopefully CA will tone down Inquisitors a bit in a patch; but until then, it's at least one way of neutralizing them.

Actually you need 9 units. You can't simply put units in the four cardinal directions, or else the inquisitor will simply move out of the way diagonally:

_A_
AIA
_A_

You have to FULLY box in the inquisitor and THEN send in the 9th unit in the space where the inquisitor is. Boom, dead inquisitor:

AAA
AIA
AAA
