Hello ^_^
I'm playing as England, I already defeated Scotland and now I control the two islands...
Almost every turn i'm being offered a guild in Iverness(or something similar), Templar guild, St John's guild, Sword guild, Thieves guild...
Anyone knows why all the guilds want to be there?

cos they all are all fans of the caley jags?

maybe you already have guilds in your other cities and inverness is the only city without or it could simply be that inverness is churning out units/buildings that the guilds like
in my game for example im churning out assassins in edinburgh and got an assasins guild there (my assassins are still crap tbh)

I don't even touch this city, it's there for making money.

I think part of it is preprogrammed. Inverness was also just a barren wilderness town for me and I kept being offered Templar guild or St.John's guild there. I rejected a few times and finally accepted but hoped that they would show up in one of my frontline castles instead. Shipping elite knights for several turns to the front is quite annoying.

Did you really get the offer of a swordsmith's guild there? That one is unusual, all the others mainly get offered based on faction-wide actions eg join crusade, attack muslim faction, successful spy op etc.
But sword guild is settlement based, you need to have trained sword units there, or at the least have built all the armourer series there or lots of armourer-series buildings elsewhere.

I have st johns chapter houses everywhere. The way they work the more you support them, the more they will support you and offer the guild in other cities. Also its possible to get a HQ from only 1 guildhouse but would probably take forever, you'll get the HQ much quicker if have a bout 5 or 6.

As for the main topic it seems to go in sequence. If you reject one, it will offer you another one next. Also the beside thieves guild, you will most likeley get an offer for what you did most in most cases. If you asassinated 20 characters you'll get a lot of offers for asassins guilds, build a lot of merchants and you'll get merchants guilds. Ignore the thieves guiols as you'll capture plenty of them in your campaign.

Oh sorry, it wasn't there, it was in Angres...

So why is the guild always offered there?
It was like that in my previous campaign also.

Some guilds are listed for particular regions in the descr_region file IIRC. This may reflect a predispostion to having certain guilds in certain places. For example, Toledo was famous for steel making and Venice for trading. Thus, the game tries to account for that by making it more likely that you'd get a swordsmith's guild and a merchant's guild in those respective regions.
