The getai potential uniter trait says you need:


To become "Pavel-ter", Sovereign of all Thracians, this man must rule Buridava, Sarmiszegethusa, Kallatis, Nikomedia, Naissus, Byzantion, Tylis, and Chersonesos

As my guys keep getting killed by horse archers up there I thought I'd check out the trait triggers. Some of them mention Byzantion *and* Chersonesus, while some just mention Chersonesus.

Only a minor thing but I'm hoping there was a mix-up between the region name of Byzantion (Chersonesus Thrakia IIRC) and the city of Chersonesus so I can mod the trigger myself and don't have to fight those nasty horse archers any more.

Also, the "Nikomedia" mentioned in the text description is called Nikaea (or something close) in the game.

(Pretty minor but might confuse people who didn't know thracians lived there.)

As you can imagine, the descriptions weren't exactly my priority when updating the trait files to the new city names. About the trait triggers, we'd have to ask paullus, this was all done way before I joined.

Not important really. Just hoped there'd been a mix-up as it would save some of my guys from the horse archers :)

To update on this... I have all the territories requested for the trait and have "possible uniter" as my faction leader but he never becomes a uniter? What are the perks if any and how does my guy obtain them?

The triggers in this version are wrong so what you need is:

Buridava, Sarmiszegethusa, Kallatis, Nikaia, Naissos, Chersonesos, Byzantion, Tylis.

I have all of them but I am confused... Chersonesos is the region for Byzantium not an actual city?

Try the Western city of present day Crimeia.
