Will the saka rauka be getting new units in an upcoming patch? So far in my campaign I can only recuiit early nobles, riders, and cataprachts, no cheap horse archers. This is a problem because I am no that far yet in my campaign and I can't afford the costlier units. Also I don't know if this is intentional or not but in one of my settlements I can't build a level three mic because it requires a minor city upgrade, but I cannot upgrade to a minor city because it is nomadic settlement. Is this intentional or is it something that will be fixed?

Well, you have several issues. The first one is that yes, there will be a cheaper level 1 horse archer in the patch. We still need to work out the bugs in the Saka recruitment, though. The other issue is that settlement is one of two choices when you select pastoralism. And it NEVER has a level higher than two. So if you aren't happy with it, destroy it and build a camp.

I have to apologize for an extremely bad piece of advice - the bit on settlements. It was incorrect and does not accurately depict the nature of Nomad gov-mic structures. Hopefully this will prove more helpful:

1) The steppe provinces (and many of the others nearby) contain a "nomad" or a "mixed" Hidden Resource. One of the two must be present in order for the nomads to build one of their specials governments, otherwise they can only build a Type 4 Allied gov.

2) The four Nomad building series are actually two linked pairs. If you choose the Nomadism path, you can build either Courts and Camps (and those only in provinces with the nomad HR). If you select Pastoralism, you get Herds and Settlements (in provinces with either the nomad or mixed HR). There is no crossover after the initial path selection, and you can always build BOTH buildings in your selected pair in the same province.

3) It's a little more complex, but here's roughly what you get from each of the four building types:
- Courts = Represents the aristocracy, so you can recruit Nobility-type horse units.
- Camps = Represents the "rest of the tribe", so you get the non-noble horse units. Because the AI sucks, and they are needed to conquer walled towns, we will also add Foot Archers as part of the patch. Another patched item will be the "cheap" low end horse archer units currently missing from the Saka core inventory.
- Herds = Almost identical to Courts. The nomad nobility in a pastoral province will be similarly equipped to the "pure" nomads.
- Settlements = Allows you to recruit steppe foot units. It also allows for the construction of economic buildings not otherwise available in the pure nomad "tent cities".

4) The Type 4 gov is essentially identical to those of every other faction, and represents an Allied nation. As such it can build the Regional MIC, which is the only way for nomads to recruit non-steppe units.

Hopefully this clarifies things.
