playing as the aedui, was seiging meidolanium (romans took it earlier), I had an army led by a general i had just adopted that turn, as well as another general as support and some infantry.
i had one unit of bataros behind my army, and in the end turn, the romans attacked me, they were reinforced by a garrison of 1 unit triarri.
so it was my generals army with 1 unit reinforcements vs the roman generals army with 1 unit garrison reinforcements.
i won the battle after killing most of the relief force army, of whom the enemy general escaped, while their garrison troops were completely wiped out.
after the battle, the game crashed upon attempting to resume the campaign map, the same way it used to with the old ctd.
some things i can think of that could be helpful-
-i'd only just sieged the town so i didnt have any equipment built yet.
-the garrison that was in the town was wiped out in the battle
-both of my generals survived
-the general who led the army didnt yet have his personality traits given since he was only recruited that turn, so he only had his vital stats.
-both of the generals had no command stars
