There's a really big part of me that thinks they should be in in some form or other but to be honest there just getting on my nerves now.Two and three unit stacks popping up everywhere standing on my towers :furious3:
I have been playing as the moors and because of the physical amount of land they own it's just not worth me sending half stacks half way across Africa to remove them, and taking 12 years to get here to boot!
I'm now thinking of getting rid of them alltogether,is there anyway to do it without needing any advanced tools/software to do it?
I'd forgotten how much of a pain they were in RTW.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Sorry about this second post lads,i cant edit yet.

I've had a change of heart,i still want to keep them but i'd like to reduce their spawn rate,i read on a post that this is possible by increasing their values on one of the Desc files, but can't for the life of me find this post again.

Apologies again on the double post.

It's in the forum FAQ - towards the end of the first post (in the settings section).

Thanks Econ, thats going to be a big help.:2thumbsup:

Does anyone know if that value increases or decreases inline with province happiness or the presence of religeous unrest? The problem i have with them at the moment is i cant seem to find a way of keeping them away, hence i wanted to change it.

In the Ludus Magna, no one seemed able to find any empirical regularity with rebel spawn in RTW and the devs have not enlightened us. I suspect it will be the same in M2TW.

I would just pump up the rebel & pirate spawn to 100 or something, so you are not bothered by them. (Personally, they don't bother me in M2TW but were an enormous drag in RTW.) Bear in mind this will only take effect for a new campaign, though, as the descr_strat is only read then.
