Not working properly

Well, ive downloaded the EB mod 0.8 version ofc

But it wont install
I have patched everything correctly
but everytime i hit either Remove of Repair, it freezes
the only thing that doesn't is the modify option

My best bet is that you have a corrupted download, try reinstalling RTW and redownloading EB.

Are you really really really certain it's a clean 1.5?
Otherwise I have no idea, what it could be.

okay, seems no one got a clue what the matter is, so im gonna write a very detailed version of my problem, as i REALLY REALLY wanna play EB 0.8

First of all, i cleaned out all of my rome folders, think i had about 15 different mods installed, and they where taking a heck of space.
Secondly, i installed a clean, fresh and shinning version of Rome - Total War and patched it to 1.2, then 1.3 and then at last 1.5
Meanwhile, i had downloaded EB from the website
I then tried to install the mod, by pressing the EB 0.8 setup button that had appeared on my desktop
Everything went fine till i got to the part where it asked if i wanted to "Modify, Repair or Remove"
I choosed Repair and then the installer froze. I have tried downloading EB from all the places its uploaded, and noone of them works. I have too tried to install a new version of Rome, but noooo it still doesn't work
Some help would be appreciated

I should retry SPQR with my new system, my older one couldn't quite hack it. You cleaned out all of your Rome folders, but did you remove every instance of RTW on your computer? Add/remove programs, deleted every single directory from your Program Files? Then did the re-installation? You shouldn't be getting "Modify, Repair or Remove" if you really have completely wiped RTW off your computer. At least according to my logic, which is not EB approved.

i found an old folder which contained some EB 0.72 files, from when i raised the cost of roman soldiers
