Which way is this rotating?

This is important.

Hmm... my first impression was counterclockwise ... it then always took me some adjustment time to "make" it switch to clockwise and back again.

anticlockwise
clockwise...
I told you it was amazing :2thumbsup:
Wait, is this some Euro thing? Which way is counterclockwise in 3d?

right, damnit !
EDIT: weird, when I try to 'make' it go left I can only see two half orbs, each going in the opposite direction.
EDIT2 : w00t I made it go left

There is no sphere, only blue pixels move across a circle. Still cool though.
I told you it was amazing :2thumbsup:
No it's not, why is it important? What does it tell about you?

Whether it first appears to be going left or right tells deep dark things about your soul. Or maybe it's just nifty. Hmm, maybe you'll agree that this one is amazing:

Same illusion, but with more nudity.

I only got it to do that once, couldn't repeat it. :shame:

Depends how you look at it.

Can't make it go clockwise..
Maybe I am staring at the wrong attribute? :laugh4:

You have to stare at the legs :p
Well, I can imagine it in both directions, with some concentration, I can make it switch direction...
And no, it's not some blue dots moving along a circle, it's some blue dots moving from the left to the right while becoming slower toward the ends of their specific route, the problem lies in the fact that they do not scale, with a real orb, the dots in the background would be smaller than those close to the viewer which our brain would then be able to interprete as left or right turning. I would call this some kind of optically disturbing moving pixel thing, the "sphere" exists only in out imagination because our brain gets fooled by the different speeds of the pixels....or...that's what I thought before I had a closer look, now I am certain that it is moving counterclockwise because the pixels moving from the left to the right spead out to the top and bottom, when moving from the right to the left, they get closer together because they are further away.
So in fact it's counterclockwise(looking from the top).

The sphere is going right (or anti-clockwise).
The rotating lady just seemed to switch about.. probably fixed.
The sphere is actually two half spheres. One is moving clockwise, the other anti-clockwise. This creates the elusion of one sphere moving in two directions.
Is my hypothesis correct Sasaki?

Well it's 2d, so I think doc_beans description would be the most accurate. The dots move back and forth wiggling a little.
Here's another one:

What do you mean? It's a picture of dolphins! You...you...pervert!!! ~
j/k :p
but there really are dolphins. Supposedly if you show the picture to a child they only see dolphins, if you show it to an adult it takes them a couple minutes to see the dolphins. If you show it to the average male internet user...

Crazy. I thought it was left at first but as soon as I voted I could only see it going right. :dizzy2: The sillhouette goes clockwise. And what exactly are you supposed to see in that bottle? All I see is the kneeling couple and the tag. :inquisitive:
edit: Oh.. :embarassed:
In my opinion Sasaki that is a naked woman, with the head of snoopy the dog which has been attached back to front, wearing a French beret. She is also wrapped in silk bandages.
Is that a good hypothesis, am I wrong or is it open to perseption?

Really? You don't hear "Da Da Da" when you are watching him and "Ba Ba Ba" with your eyes closed? Strange.
Anyway, who are these two guys?
