Hi there!

I really really love this game, but there is one thing that is driving me crazy, and not wanting to play: heretics and the religious unrest caused by them. I have two or three priests and a huge cathedral in every region but still, heretics arrive very-very often. In the last turn, before I exited the game and almost deleted it (and almost crashed the dvd-s:-) I have tried to kill a heretic with 5 priests (3 of them cardinals - one of them had a chance of 73% to denounce him but failed), two of them became heretics themselves, and 4 assassins failed also. I am so damned angry. So does someone know the console command for killing heretics and maybe the command for raising the piety of priests and raising the level of religion in a region? Thx!

make sure you have the agent selected, theres a few more but I don't remember at this time. I'm at work... and I should be working but im not... lol and I'm like a month behind on some stuff.

Here are a few more not 100% sure if I'm writing them corectly or spelling them right.

give_trait this Missionary 4 (I think 4 is the highest level if not try 3 or 2 or 1)

I know what you mean about them. Also about every few turns one of my priests turn heretic if left in a city...

You can also try the military option of surround and squat...used for inquisitors but effective for all unwanted enemy agents.

In my games I don't really have a problem with heretics that much. But then again I try to have a priest or higher in every city, town or castle. I don't go crusading with my priests. :egypt:

Thanx for all the help, maybe if someone knows the command for raising the religion percentage of a region, i would really appreciate it!

baron_Leo I don't think a command like that exists.

And you can go to gamewinners.com and search for medieval 2 and you can find the whole list of all commands available, but they don't tell you what they do.

How do you do this? Cause the inquisitor seem to be able to step out of the box even when i have my troops surrounding him

You didn't surround properly. Occupy all eight squares around the agent with military units and then send in a ninth directly at their location accomplishes uber squishity.

Note that fewer are needed if inaccessible terrain like rivers/mountains are nearby.
