Quick question about conquistadores

Hi there!
Could please someone tell me, when can I buy conquistadores with the Portugese? Aren't they supposed to show up, when the aventuros?

I am about 90% sure that they are only available to Spain and then only in the new world. So unless you have a castle or city there they won't show up.

They are available to Portugal as well but only in the New World with wooden walls (2nd level).
