game freeze in battle screen

This is probably minor but it happened to me 3 times at the same spot. It was on the battle screen, I was KH on the island off the coast of pergamon in the year 242 BC(can't remember name "milites" or something) attacking Makedonia their final city. I set my army on the coast to get them to attack me. On the battle screen when I Press "Start Battle" the game freezes. I let it be for 5 minutes to see if it would continue but it didn't so I restarted computer. After this freeze happened 3 times in same spot I withdrew my army from battle and it didn't happen again.

That's a good alert. Did it happen when you were on the crossable straight? When you were sieging the city? We should try to test this out more. I know I've fought on that straight and had no problem before though. Exactly what spot was it on? Can you point it out in a screenshot? Or describe it in moves away from Mytilene? (one space east, two north, etc.)?

I wasn't on the straight my army was 2 spaces south and 1 or 2 spaces west of the city of Mitilene on a little piece of land right on the coast and I wasn't sieging the city I just placed my army there from a ship to get makedonia to attack me because I had artillery and I wanted to be on the defensive. I'll try and get a screen shot.

The freezebug is something that could have been caused by 44 khz soundfiles and eax.
