I did Prt Scrn while in battle and also during campaign mode but I can't find the shots. Am I doing it right and if I am where do you go to get these screen shots? I looked but could not find and I also did a search but no luck. Can someone do a step by step on how to do it and where to find the screenshots afterwards?

Thanks in advance.

After you hit printscreen, open up photoshop or some other similar program, select "new image", and then paste. It should then paste right into the new blank image. That's how I do it.

don't you have to change something in preferences.txt too?

i have a vague memory of doing that.

I tried following your instructions teleklos and I still couldn't get it to work, I don't have photoshop and I tried another similiar program that I have and couldn't locate the screenshots. Any other ideas.

I use fraps (www fraps com) because I could never figure it out any other way. Push F10 and a bitmap will be in the fraps folder.

Download the GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/). Then go into your TW directory in Program Files (usually either Actvision - Rome Total War or The Creative Assembly - Rome Total War) and enter the tga folder. In there you will find the screenies.

I tried fraps and it worked great, I have the screenshots. Now how do I post them to the forums? I thought I would just copy and paste it but I'm not able to do that for some reason, any suggestions?

I just go to www.imageshack.us, browse, host, and copy the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" code and paste it in the thread relpy.

its too easy dude.. hit 'print screen' then alt+enter to switch back to windows, open up paintbrush, powerpoint, etc whatever, hit paste. Presto, beautiful images.
