Shields and Woad Paintings....some help please=)

hello to you all, its long since i came into the forums...=)

im now playing oblivion, so that RTW doesn't get too repetitve(been playing for one year non stop).. and im now making a mod about shields for that game... i come here in hopes of you ppl here at EB could help me in finding nice Resolution pictures of Shields of the Roman Era... can any of you help me?

BTW i remember EB had quite a few warriors painted with woad.. can you point me to some site or pictures of facial paintings... preferebly with high res.. as Oblivion is a very High res game... and the textures need to be detailed so that in game they are good...

and its mostly about a shield massive add on, adding more variety to the world... feel free to look at them... im quite fond of them, although i know that they are not totally historically acurate....

im also starting to make some facial woad painting for the Face of some characters...

im sorry.. i was bit hasty...it's just that this will be my first released mod for oblivion, and i wanted to make it the most complete possible at release...so far i only have 7 new shields... i wanted to have at least twice as that by release... i do have some hoplons here, but im a bit tired of making round shields.. i would try to make some woad paintings for nordic races...but alas i don't know much about the designs, nor where i can find more about them.. a quick search on google only showed some very low quality pics, and nothing else... im gonna try to be a bit more preserverent in the future... sorry, i won't do it again...

Gday. Unfortunately EB didn't have the opportunity of cutting and pasting Celtic material. Almost all of the material was created from scratch using original sources as the inspiration, so there's not much we can offer that we haven't already released.

i haven't forgotten about he masks sarcasm!=) its just that a scanner is something that i can't buy right now, and as my friend that has one is in Porto, and im in Lisbon...and my course is not the one that allows for much freedom..i have passed most of the last 3 months working in the hospital, only in the last 3 had i some time for myself(but not too much..just enough to play a bit on the pc and not really as much as id like).. and the next 7 months are as hectic for me...i usually come home really tired, and i normally need to study my ass off to the next day...every day is this same routine. its a destroyer of personal life, but i like it... you get the picture... but now the christmas holidays are here, i'll see what i can do.=) don't get desperate about it..i know i should have gotten thaat to you by now, but i simply didn't had the opportunity to get it scanned and pasting it to the boards here...

as for the copy and paste.. i did copy pasted some, but others, i did have to use personal photos for some materials...like the wicker shield...thats actually the bottom end of a wicker bin=), some of the next ones are scratch built too... i copy pasted some of the exsisting ones cuz its the easier way of attaining a higher res and higher quality effect....if i had the skill to make them so higher res just by using PSP and the mouse and no starting material, i would have done it, cuz ideas are not what lacks here=) and although some might look definetly copy paste, it might not be completely so, as most textures are highly edited, to which i added bits or took parts away...
