I've had a few random CTD's in the past, but I suspect it was memory overload more than anything. This one however is consistent. When my character finishes his walk, and it's about to start the first AI faction, the game CTD's when running the script. If the script isn't running, game works fine, Olbia revolts from me. Tested this with BI and 1.5 as well.

I have never gotten a message from show error, is that ok? All bugs it'll detect have been removed?

My save game.

I hope .81 gets released soon, I've been itching to start a purely historical roman campaign, but I don't want to start it, only to have to start all over again the next day, especially since I hate the time between Camilian and Polybian units. You KNOW what's going to happen every time, but once you get ahead a decade or three, the game gets pretty interesting.

sounds like the rebelling city CTD of course. The issue is being addressed internally. Should have a working fix out soon.

Can you try this out?

Back up descr_rebel_factions.txt file, then open it up. Search down for "Iskutae" and you will have the peasant_revolt entry for that province, Skythia. The last line of that entry says:

unit eastern skirmisher cavalry pontic general

Delete that whole line. Save the file and continue your campaign. :2thumbsup:

Must be another city rebelling then. I'll try to upload a temporary file fix.

That'd be great, but should I just go through and delete every instance of that line?

No - it's my mistake. That line is no longer valid in our new build, but it looks ok in our old one. So it must be something else that is causing the problem.
