I suspect it happens on occasions when there may be too few moderators around to check out the posts. After all, we wouldn't want the mother of all flame wars to spiral out of control during the season of good will, would we?

:grin:'Kay, so my internet sucked (I blame society!) and I'm out of contact with the org for a while. Now the Backroom closed for holidays -- nothing unusual -- but, pray tell, friend, which hallowed grounds are you moderating right now?

Besides, the mother of all flame wars is actually something I'd really want to see on my Christmas, it sorta distracts from your usual Season Greetings and cheesy Christmas songs overdose.

Tosa, how much would you need for the org to "suffer" a "tragic" "accident" rendering the backroom irretrievably "lost", unrecoverable from this "sabbatical", and permanently nonreinstatable?
