View Full Version : 20000 Florins for attacking faction for 15 turns ?
I tried to get Russia to DoW Poland, they wanted 20K florins,
So attack faction is only valid 15 turns ? And who's to say that they actually WILL attack faction ? Wow these guys went to medieval business school, apparently I did too coz I actually fell for that rip off !. Oh well at least it's 20K florins spent... !!!
:idea2:
:inquisitive:
:laugh4: :whip:
Wow, thats quite pricy! Which side were you? I wouldn't have forked that much our to the Ruskies, you could have bribed an enemy army for that price!
Turks.
Enemy army ? That's true, but then they'd be weaker. I'm actually at war with Poland, because they launched a Crusade, What I'm doing is giving all the Russian land back to the Russians from the Poles (Sultan Robin "the Turk" Hood or should it be Sultan Robin the Turban ?). They are my allies and I figure wth, they may as well lend a hand. So much for that.
Slaughter the greedy bastards. None shall stand before the might of the Ottoman Empire!
I'm pretty sure that only means they will engage in combat against that faction within the next 15 turns, not that they will be at war with them for the next 15. I've promised military assistance to my allies a few times, and it drops off the diplomacy screen as soon as one combat is done, or even a blockade of a port. It seems to even work if they attack you.
Thanks Quillan. It's kind of expensive. I would like to be able to join a war, or have allies join a war.
There is no hope for the blasphemers Sadiq ! I tell you !
(lol)
Ok so this is part of a big conspiracy against the Mongols.
1. Poland DoWs Turks. Great... Horray for Crusades ! Can of butt-whopping ready to be served... cold !
2. Turks take all Polish provinces which Poles got from Russia in previous wars, and start giving it back to Russia, allying them in the process.
3. Turks give Russia loads of florins per turn and also any excess wives which are spoiling the furniture. (OMG ladies forgive me please!)
4. And this is the theorectically part: Theorectically Russia becomes so strong that:
a) They make a good buffer for the Mongols. Might see some 2vs1 battles.
b) They make a big fat, well fed, juicy target once they attack Turks (which will happen eventually knowing the dimwit military strategists housing their Defence Ministry).
