It's disturbing how much I rely on the internet. Over the last coupla days, I've completely missed out on what's happening in the world - apparently countries have been invaded, the earth's been shaking (more on that in a moment), and A has become friends with B on facebook!
So, yeah. Earthquake offshore Taiwan, has buggered up internet access for a large chunk of East Asia. This is the first time I've been able to get online since, and it's certainly not fast. Bah.

Yet our local newspaper thinks the best thing to put on the front page is how many cell phone messages we will send on new year's eve ~:rolleyes:
