OFFTOPIC: Is there a mod the allows more men? RTW

Basically what the forum says. I was wondering if there was a mod that would allow me to exceed the limit of HUGE. My computer can handle it :). Thanks

What TW game are you playing? I don't know about M2:TW, but it is impossible in R:TW. The game does not allow units bigger then 240 men (excl. officers). The closest thing you could do is to mod all units to this size. For M:TW and S:TW the numbers may be different, but I am pretty sure a similar limitation will be in place.

Regarding loads and loads of units, doesn't the game engine itself start to struggle after a certain number of men?

Probably. I think it was after a couple thousand or so. 8000 if I recall correctly.

You can mod one of the files to have 240 men per unit which is more than default 'huge' isnt it? Also M2tw runs better with lots of men then RTW does!

Ive only got 2000, but thats probably cuz ive got highest graphics settings and my computer is like 5 years old...

in the preferences file, make it 800. Its huge fun :laugh4:
