View Full Version : Against All Odds
One of the good things about playing as Saka is that you find yourself forced to take on enemy armies at unthinkable odds, usually 5-1 against or worse. The normal RTW strategy of building up and fighting the enemy on your terms? Not possible. But over time my Faction Leader became quite good at death defying feats. Here are the final screenies from his two greatest victories:

That's some great... uh... very vague text except for heroic victory and Imageshack.

Sorry - resized to make it clearer!
Oh, you made me courious... Perhaps the next faction I'll play as (currently trying to win with the getae after having lost for the first time in 3 years since I play rtw). I'm quite sure it's easy for them against the phalanx-based Bactrians and Seleucids, but I don't think it will happen with parthians or sarmatians though...
Arbaces.
VERY nice job there. :2thumbsup:
When you press PrintScreen, is an image saved to some folder? I almost always forget to save my screenshots using paint. I had a screenshot of a general of mine with 100 horses who defeated 1100 Parthians (or Bactrians, not quite sure, I slaughter them all equally "turnly"). That's better than you have done :laugh4:

Believe me "easy" isn't part of the vocabulary when you have 80 men going against 700 of anything! But yes, it's even harder when going against large Sauromatae horse archer armies. Hence the need to use your diplomatic skills to the max and keep them as allies or at least friends!

Bah! Absent a screen shot, those are idle words and empty boasts! :beam:
