Retrain Bug

Hi everyone, Happy New Year to all of you!

Here's the deal:

I have a Hospitaller HQ in Acre (+2 valor) as well as a tourney field (another +2 valor) plus a master swordsmith's guild in Angers (+1 global for knights). If I count this up correctly, this should give me valor 5 Knights Hospitaller in Acre. However, they all come out at valor 0! :furious3: They are retrainable (440 florins per unit :inquisitive: ), but afterwards they are still valor 0!!! :wall: What's going on here?!? I tried retraining them repeatedly, but nothing happens... :help:

Is this a known bug or is this only happening to me? It kind of sucks building all those bonus-giving buildings just to find out they don't give any bonus after all... :thumbsdown:


BTW, it does say they are trained at valor 5 on the recruitment info card, but they aren't...

This is why I use a cheat, a lot. I have a similar situation to yours, except I can recruit 6 xp Hospitallers due to stacking a Horse Breeders Guild in the mix. First, I spend 880 florins each to recruit however many Hospitallers I want. Any that come out without experience, I delete. Then I open the console (~ key) and type
create_unit Leon "Knights Hospitaller" 1 6 0 0. Note, substitute the name of the city where you're recruiting the knights for Leon, change the 1 to however many units in question you have to do, change the 6 to 5 (that's the experience), the first 0 is armor upgrades (can be 0, 1, or 2 with hospitallers) and the second is weapon upgrades (must be 0 since you'd need a swordsmith's guild in the settlement for it to be a 1, and then you couldn't have the St. Johns HQ there). Now you have the same number of 5 xp hospitallers that you should have had already, without spending any more money or time.
