Ok I just got Dawn of War this evening. It's the Gold edition including Winter Assaoult.

At first I got to the third disc or so with no problem. I pop open internet explorer just to do something while waiting and the screen goes totally black.

I had to manually turn off my computer and next time I tried to install it, I read that there should be nothing going on in the background. So I didn't do internet again. I click next and just an hourglass pops up! I ctrl+alt+delete and there are 2 DAW files saying Not Responding. I've tried it several times and it won't even go past the first "next" button. It just freezes on it's hourglass position or goes back to the regular pointer after a long while but still doesen't proceed.

I posted this on two other forums but they can't seem to help me too much.
This is insane. What do I do?

Any help would be more than appreciated.

I don't think I'd be able to do that...

This friggin' sucks. It's not like it's never worked, but now all of the sudden I can't even get close to the CD key question. Let alone INSTALL it!

Heck, such things may even be caused by an excessive amount of spyware on the computer. Although, my initial thought, too, was a heavily corrupt CD.

Anyway, problem's sorted out - so have fun !
