Probably not. You should really be asking if anyone from Creative Assembly/ Dreamtime read this. EA is just the publisher.

and just who the f*** are you referring to when you say "a bunch of kids"? you mean the users on here? if so, sorryto waste your most precious, valuable time mu5a5hi. We should all be lucky you have deigned to grace us with your presence.

Yeah, what Soly said, X2. Get your own name while you are at it Mu5a5hi. There's plenty of names around that aren't being used, and don't require you to substitute numbers for letters. This isn't AOL for gods' sake.

oh yes, this thread has potential....

...but that potential shouldn't be fulfilled (ie. universal flaming threads will be closed, so calm down, children http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif). Assuming Mu545#1 had the will to read the rants through, I guess he's learned his lesson and deserves an answer. Quoting the Question Time answers (http://www.totalwar.com/community/newquestions2.htm) at the Community Site (http://www.totalwar.com/community/index.htm): Quote Q. Would you and your staff please reconsider showing your faces again in the forums? I know some jerks make a habit of it to start flaming you every time you try to explain something there, and I can’t blame you for staying away. But I kinda miss you guys in there (especially Target and Ben, give my regards to them).

A. Richie Skinner Dreamtime's Web Marketing Manager still visits the forums several times a week. There has been a very small amount of improper and rude behaviour by a tiny minority on the forums (just as there is on any forum), but we all feel that the forums at the totalwar.org and at totalwar.com are two of the best game forums around!!!! We will continue to monitor these forums and pass all useful feedback on to the relevant parties.[/QUOTE]So we are monitored by CA/DT/EA, perhaps even more than what's being disclosed here. Many discussions here are worthy of reading in and of themselves, but I have a strong hunch that many improvements in the expansion pack and the patches were / will be made because of player feedback, ie. us. Notable examples include (but are not limited to) the Hôjô Horde fix, the strategy map move plotting, increasing Geisha cost and decreasing their effectiveness in 1.11 (or was it 1.1?)...

But keep in mind that we're not here to dictate what the developers should do with the game - it's theirs, not ours. We can always offer suggestions, and of course speculate to our hearts' content, but if they want to make the game to look like what they want it to look like, then that's their decision.

Another factor could be that the x-pack has now moved into the test phase; so it's sensible to assume that the CA/DT reps would now begin to rely more upon feedback from their bata-test crew, (rather than from the masses who haven't played the game as yet).

I was in contact with EA Raskal during the development phase + they were certainly visiting the forums and soliciting feedback then I can tell you.

In any event there's no need to let personal rancour enter into this + to the best of my knowledge there has never been a thread closure in the Mongol Invasion Expansion Pack forum + we'd break Anssi's lil' Finnish heart if we started a flame war here. -I want you to ask yourself: can you live with that?

Actually, on second thought: you'd probably not only live with it, but also laugh at it; ah heck: let's chill anyway! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

Actually from one thread I read awhile ago the people who contribute to STW forums are usually older. Which makes sense because STW appeals to an older crowd. For the most part the interactions on this forum are more intelligent than the average forum discussions. I find people here generally get along and are respectful of others. There are always exceptions (Mu5a5hi for example) but they are pretty rare. Don't let Mu5a5hi get under your skin guys. It's not worth it.
