Happy new year, to all at the Guild.

I have been reading the posts on this forum for some time now and thought it was time register and make my first post.

Having survived campaigns in MTW and the RTW series I was looking forward to the release of M2TW.
I have played about 50 turns as the English on M/M, but did find this enough of a challenge. So after installing the patch, I re-started this campaign on very VH/VH.

By turn 19, I had take the British Isles, all rebel provinces from Antwerp south to Bordeaux and sent my first crusade down the east coast of the Iberian peninsular. Until now the game did not very much harder than the M/M campaign.
:beam: Then on turn 20, I was betrayed, by my allies the French, who laid siege to Caen and attacked a small unit of reinforcement I was moving to help in the north.
The Danes and the HRE have both crossed my Antwerp border, with a large stack of troops each, and seem to be having a race to see who can get to Antwerp first.
The Sicilians made an amphibious landing, with a small stack, and then proceeded to siege Zaragoza. Getting there just as the Portuguese positioned an even larger stack on the bridge/border with Pamplona.
A full Spanish army has just moved across my border into Valencia.
My Cordoba crusading army has been hit by massive desertion, just for taking a little time out to visit the bars at Granada.
Lastly, the Moors seem to be a bit unset by my holiday in the costa.
All in one turn I seem to have upset everybody. Was it something I said?

I knew this game was going to be fun!

On a different issue, I have unpacked and converted the export_descr_unit.txt file into an excel spreadsheet so that I can compare the units for different factions. I thought this might be of use to others in the guild. Is there a way to attach this to a post? If so, how?

A moderator or an Administrator would have to clarify this, but at the top open the tab called files. In the drop down should be something called "Upload a File", click on that, and continue to upload. If this doesnt work, try it at the other total war place. Oh ya, the Total War Center.\

ps. The Org is so much better than the total war center. I am prepared to defend this place and my opinion to the death with my army of knights and the riflemen/snipers i keep in reserve.
