Ok so here I am investing all my life in TOTAL WAR ! I have to take a break before I break something in other areas of my life. This game is too addictive, incredible. I spend literally all my free time on it since I bought it. It even FRIED my GPU ! ... and I went and bought another one for 200 Euro. Thankfully (with some female "persuasion") I went and returned it for a cheaper card.

Now guess what ? .... I got my mind on a dual GPU new gaming system. ???? OMG ???? man....

So anyway I decided a 7 day moratorium to everything M2:TW related is in order. Rehab !

I'm publishing this so I have more incentive to stay away in case someone sees I'm online :P You know the make_public_your_resolutions thing.

:idea2:

ARRRGG! Ok bye for now. Have a great week.

:help:

:sweatdrop:

This is gonna be le suck.

:smash:

Farewell Comrades !

Don't go for a dual card configuration, at least not yet. Check the hardware and software forum - we've got lots of information on that.

I do know what you mean, though. As somebody who didn't like RTW a whole lot in the end, I'm liking M2 more than I thought I would.

Got you all beat: I have to go out of town on business for weeks, starting Sunday. No TW for me except on weekends from then until, probably, about May.

Don't do it man! I've been away from M2TW for about 2 weeks now. It's been hell. My ramblings on the forums have become increasingly incoherent. The withdrawaaaalll symptoms will totally get you.

I am truly blessed to have a significant other who understands that computer gaming is 'my thing'. Some guys spend their evenings in the garage working on cars, or doing carpentry work or any of thousands of various other things that people can spend their time doing.

Gaming is what I do with mine and, God lover her, she got me M2TW for Christmas. I warned her when she asked 'what was that game you were talking about wanting?' that the game would, in all likelihood result in my vanishing to my office for several days.

Not only did she understand she seems to enjoy how much I enjoy it. Of course the holiday break being over now my time spent on it has been forcibly normalized :juggle2:

But that just makes the time I get to spend on all the better.

Enjoy your break, the game will be no less fun for having taken it. ;)
