I was playing as England, when a turn in events happened...
...I discovered that the Rebels bribed my general that was going to help aid King William. I lost the army that was comeing to aid King William, thus I had to withdraw my plans to attack the Scottish city. Thankfully I did because the Scotts sent a diplomat to ask for aliance and trade, I agreed. I still needed to get revenge, on the Rebels! So I attacked one of the Rebel settlements. I made shure this time they would not bribe this general, because the attacking general was King William. About 2 minutes into the first battle of what would become known as "The Rebel Wars". I noticed something odd, The enemies where routing then charging, then repeating. So I sent my calvery forward. They charged the enemy lines, throwing men left and right. Then I used the same calvery units to lure the enemies into an awaiting ambush. I made them go to the plaza. The enemy units started fighting a small number of infantry in the plaza area. Completely unaware I had units moving in on there 2 escape routes. Then, they saw one road open. Or at least they hoped was open. As they ran down the road I had units to close off the entrance to the plaza, while the other units sprung the trap. The second team closed off the exit. Then my "captured enemies" count went up by the fives. I killed every enemy except 200 men, who I exicuted. Then I sacked the settlement. I had won the first battle of "The Rebel Wars".
