Changing faction starting data.

Basically how do I changed the starting money for factions? I go into World/map/campign etc. then find the descr_strat.txt and change money but when I go save it, it won't let me. Help?

You mean you try to save it, and it gives you some nonsense about it being a read-only file? If that's what's going on, just right-click on the file, go to Properties and down at the bottom under Attributes unclick Read-only. The desc_strat file -and probably all the other .txt files- is a read-only file when you install the game to keep people from messing with them accidently, as far as I know.

If that's not what you mean, then... I'm clueless.

Thats exactly what I mean thank you very much. I want to get the first campaign out of the way so I increased the money of my faction and put is on easy, Ill do the hard stuff for the long campaigns. Thanks again.
