game freezes during campaign

heres the problem....Whenever i play a campaign, within a short amount of time, the game just completely freezes and i wind up having to restart my computer......

I have tired this out wth several factions and with every one of them, nothing changes....

this sound like a graphikcard issue, to me. Do you have problems with other games, especially 3d Games? Do you have the Problem in RTW, too?

Well i can play Medieval II total war just perfectly and i beleive my video card is more then capable with the requirements.... bu tthen again, theres always a chance.....

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try updating your graphics card drivers. Also try this guide (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=75948). There could be a hogger stealing your memory.

Im afraid it didn't work.... ill try downlaoding EB again and see what comes out.....

ok i tried everything that was suggested but still no result... the freeze jsut occurs almost randomly during the campaign/battle map.... the longest i ever got was barely 2 turns...

i reeaaaly want to play EB but i dont think i can.... :shame:


Is there ANYTHING else that could be the problem

Try playing Vanilla for an hour or so. Does the same problem occur?
