Just getting started with EB and very impressed with the detail and depth of the trait system!

However there are some what conflicting traits I've notice -

Playing Macidonia (sp) at the moment and have two generals both with the occational drinker trait yet also with the rarley drinks trait. Both giving a contradictory -1 and +1 moral to troops each

First is this a bug? and is it fixable?

Yes it is a bug. It has to do with the makedonian drinker trait and how it interacts with the generic drink trait. I've tried to fix it quite a few times already without much success. This is one of the situations where not having another traiter in the team sucks. I bet it could quickly be fixed by a fresh set of eyes.

I don't know if this has already been reported and it sort of connects with the topic, so...

Fleet admirals are always one season behind in the seasonal circulation, ie. they have the winter trait when it is spring, at least with Romans and Ptolemaics.

BozosLiveHere, can't you make them anti-traits? I thought that that stopped two traits from emerging together or are they different ranks of the same trait group. In that case you could make them separate traits.

They already are. But OTOH they are also tied to each other, i.e., you receive a point in Makedonian Drinker when the generic Drink trait goes up. Ideally, this would ensure that for makedonian generals you would have only the faction-specific variant in their trait list, but it isn't happening.
