ROFLMAO

particularly
'then it is possible for a multiple of star wars unvirses out there in the multiverse such as one where the Empire bet the Rebals, one where Anakin Skywalker never became Darth Vader and the like'
"Fact is that SW cannot be proven to be unreal"
'You can't prove that anything is really fiction. All that you have to go on is what one person says. How can one person make up a whole universe in his own head?'
'this is my theory anyway...
the governments know that the Force is real. They are afraid that if normal people find out the truth the governments will be overrun and the world will become a huge Republic. '

On a total change of subject- any reccomendations on a good SW forum to join?
Im a huge fan but for some reason never signed up to a forum...
wow. that's pretty insane. i know these people have devotion, but my god, they're taking the whole "can it be real" thing a little too far. I can only hope that they are joking. If not, :dizzy2:  :inquisitive: :embarassed:  :shame:

Well the Jedi happen to be Britains third largest Religion.
I will denounce his theory that star wars is real, until George Lucas walks up to me and says that R2D2 is in fact a Jedi... or is being internally controlled by Yoda the entire time.

I'm just glad our moderators keep us all in line so nicely.
*Don't strike me, don't strike me*
But isn't Star Wars old?
The beginning of the darned thing is
"A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away"
Your not going to have Gungans appearing on the moon.
But does this mean
1.We started a mass genocide of all but the most basic animals?
2.We are the remaining humans?
That's possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read. And the Religion thing you mentioned, people tick it simply because they think it would be funny to tick it.

I think there's a small scary minority who do it because they mean it... and I'm glad I don't have to deal with them...

People always choose the funny ones
A poll on a website
Question: Do you find web polls...
1. Annoying
2. Pointless
3. Strangely Sexual
Guess which one is winning.
Well a number of cosmologists believe that our universe is one of many. So I guess it is possible that Star Wars is real in a place we can know nothing about. But then there is also a place where dinosaurs have shotguns attached to their heads.
M-Theory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-theory)
Lets worry about our own universe before we worry about others.
Well I suppose what they're saying is that if the universe is infinite, then there are infinite possibilities out there. Somewhere in that infinity there has to exist a galaxy exactly like the Star Wars galaxy. In fact there would be an infinite number of those galaxies and an infinite number of others very similar. etc etc etc.

Clearly, but the fact that they are taking the time to openly make these
considerations, [have not looked, but I'm guessing with more than a little of a
hopeful tone to the discussion] in relation to such a fictional scenario, is slightly
disturbing. If I were so inclined, I might say it causes a disturbance in the Force
- but I'm not, so I shan't.
[It is a fantastical story, particularly for younger people, and I think you could
let them off with being slightly sci-fi sad, if they grow out of it, as it were.]

I shall share my knowledge of the Dark Side to the first person that brings me the head of Jar-Jar Binks.
The question is that with all of those infinite possibilities out there, why the ....... did I end up in this galaxy, on this bloody planet?! :furious3: I should be out there flying TIE Fighters or whatever. :dizzy2:
If we're engaging in alternate universe fantasies, I get Princess Leia in the gold bikini on the dog leash.
Oh, and a gallon of Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters on ice as well.
Hmmm... flying TIE fighter, Princess Leia on lap well hello!...
Wha... oh yes anyway I definitely think there are ewoks are out there somewhere, finding them though.... :idea2:
Now I am really angry with my parents for not giving me a lightsaber at my 10th birthday
How dare you guys question the realness of SW?
An infinite number of possibilities?
Woohoo !!!
Star Wars Universe with belgian beer, belgian chocolate and gorgeous, willing, never-complaining, hot, naked chicks, here I come!

Fans can be obsessive, maybe they're trying to grab on to a world different than their own.
