Gold has extras, 200 mg bigger, but i regret not downloading it instead.

If you'd ask me, I'd be entirely happy with normal. But it's just me.

The gold one is also optimised to run better.

When they say "more battles" they mean "one more". Its Aztecs vs Spain.

And as tosa said its "gold" because its the same optimized code that was used in the release (unpatched) medi2. The normal demo (including pavia, agincourt and hastings tutorial) is not the release code, meaning it probably won't run as well as the gold version.

Actually, it´s from the normal, not the gold demo where the fix for the two-handed animation comes, the gold demo already has the broken animations for the billmen which are also in the release version.
