How do you let the AI play a campaign

I want to test a mod Im making that makes the AI use better armies but I dont want to have to play a full campaign to do it, I'd rather let the AI play the whole campaign without me involved. How do I do this?

Just play a country that's out of the way, like Scotland. Then use a money cheat, create a huge army so you will never be attacked and just watch the AI play by turing fog of war off while you just sit there.

Step Two, Do what it says and start up the game and select england.
Step Three, type in at the console control england and the AI will take over and it will go through the turns.... then type control england at any time to stop the turns continuing.

and type toggle_fow to see the nations develop.

^^ What he said, but make sure that follow ai moves is off if you wish to use toggle_fow (otherwise you get to watch every movement of every faction across the entire map :P )
