I am considering getting Medieval Total War 2 so I have a few questions to you guys who are already playing it first.

1. What is the soundtrack like? Is it like Medieval 1 and Rome Total War? Or is it something that you would be well advised to turn off if you want to evade the headache?

2. Are some of the good features of Medieval Total War that didn't make it to Rome Total War in? I mean like the way certain historical characters like Vlad Tepes, Joan of Arc, and Saint Bernard would appear in the game, does that still happen?

3. I know this probably also sounds minor to you guys but do you still have the ability to give out the titles like Lord Admiral, or Marshall, or Constable the way you could in Medieval Total War? Being able to bestow the fuedal positions and titles is something I missed in Rome Total War, so I would like to know if it was returned.

4. If the answer to #3 is yes then does it have an effect on how the general looks in battle? For example if I grant the title Lord Admiral of France to a general does he go into battle with the Banner of Notre Dame?

1) I really like the soundtrack, it is similar to previous games. Maybe I like it more than RTW, but it comes to personal tastes.

2) Historical characters are represented in the form of ancillares in this game (They are not transferrable).

3) Titles are sadly not presented:/

Thanks for the replies. I decided to get it, but unfortunately the local computer store is closed today.

It is ashame that the titles are out, but I guess the other things make up for it.

Oh and I have a few more questions as well.

So with the historical ancillares do they work like well playing as the Byzantines your late 14th century emperor gets Marshall Boucicault as an ancillare or is it like in Rome Total War when it just depends who is in certain cities at a certain date?
