Hi!

I have a question I've been playing RTR so far and now started a Roman campaign with EB 0.8 and it's really great. I'd just like to change the difficulty settings. I started the campaing at VH/VH but I noticed that this seems a bit too much with EB stats. I can surround a unit of Lybian heavy pikemen or African swordsmen with my camillan principes and merc phalanx and they'll so often kill most of my troops and make them rout even if I keep my general nearby so I thought I'd change settings to VH/H for now as the AI bonus seems just too off to be realistic. I'm not whinning or blaming EB. I read they recommend M difficulty so it was my fault to start at VH without reading first. I want it to be hard but to me it just seems unrealistic on VH.

Is there a way to change to VH/H without starting a new campaign?

thank you all very much and congrats for making such an outstanding mod :)

You can use RomeSAGE. Besides editing it can occasionally corrupt savegames, so backup your guinea pig savegame before.

Romesage will do that for you, however last time I tried a working link for it, it was dead. I'd suggest a google search for it.
