3D Program?

Yeah....so i am looking for a good 3D program (Preferably free), to create 3D models as i have a mod i really want to begin. If any of you know a good program (hopefully for free), then that would be great. I will announce my new mod when i find a program for 3D modeling. I already have drawn pics and references. So any help is great appreciated!

The only program for creating game-compatible 3D models is Autodesk's 3ds Max (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=5659302&siteID=123112).

It aint cheap.

You could get Google Sketchup Pro 6.0 It can export to 3ds files but I don't know if it will work for modding. Somebody will have to verify that. Go here (http://sketchup.google.com/index.html) for Sketchup
