You learn the damnedest things reading Wikipedia. Ever since I first saw the movie, Ghostbusters, I thought Stay Puft marshmallows, and the company's mascot, the Pillsbury Doughboy-like sailor, were real. I would have sworn I had seen the mascot years before the movie was made.
Thinking that to be true made the scene in the film that much funnier to me, but now I admire the writers and designers for developing such a believable pop icon.
