Hard drive burned up. Trying to get new demo

I had the demo a few weeks ago. I ALSO have the full game which I reinstalled. But with losing my HD and all my files, I am trying to once again load everything including the demo.

But I can not download the new demo without paying for it or waiting over an hour, even though I have high speed cable internet.

I am trying also to help a friend who has never played to download the demo. Please tell me where to go for myself and for my friend. (I had the demo before the HD burned, but where or how I got it is now a blur.)

By the way, the computer company replaced my entire system because of my(1 month old computer's) HD burning up.

Please advise...:help:

Wouldn't it be kinda pointless in playing the demo of a game you already have especially when all of the stuff in the demo is included in the real game?

Ahh, that's where you're wrong! At least one thing was removed: the animations for some of the borked 2H units. Maybe they're intending to port the demo animations to the full game as a fix. Granted, that's a long shot, but I couldn't resist.
