View Full Version : How evil are you?
Well, today while playing as the English, I happened to get excommunicated. Citizens of my cities got a bit angry and began rioting. I saw I had a town suffering from the plague and it wasn't rioting. So, I thought I'd take a few troops out of there and send them to the cities that were rioting in order to.. lessen the number of rioters.
So, what have you all done that you would class as evil?

One time, when I was playing the Byzantines, I started a war with Turkey purely out of a desire for territorial expansion.
I just let the Aztecs break down the gate to the city I took. Why? So my reinforcements could move up behind them and trap them inside the city.
1380-odd Aztec troops. None escaped, and afterward none were spared.
I've sold regions I had large armies in to factions I was planning to attack anyway when the price was right. Nothing like making sure your enemy enters the war broke.

I would get everyone that i am allied with which is usually about 5 or 6 factions to declare war on a faction just because i wanted to see them suffer

if the ai makes a mistake i dont give any breaks.and i specialize in wholesale slaughter at the end of the campaign when i dont need any extra money from looting. if i encircle an army and begin to rout them my mouth begins to salivate and my my warhounds are unleashed to run down the poor fools who dared to oppose me.

It is nice to send a plague infected spy or other agent into your enemy lands. I still am messing about with my first campaign and so didn't really know how the reputation works. Needless to say the world thinks I am despicable and in hindsight it is well deserved.
I am still allied with Poland though!

Exterminating cities is one thing, and killing all prisoners another...but this...this...just takes the biscuit

How about this, you create massive amounts of cheap troops in your cities so you can send them on suicide missons by going into battle with their backs facing the enemy

It found evil (and sick) stuff on your computer. Dont' think we don't know!

Hey that is a good idea, i think I should do that, who knows they might win and also gain a valuable experience and will reduce my upkeep expenditure as well
I use a lot of assassins and use the violence inherent in the system to repress the plebes (bloody peasants) but in war I generally release any captured soldiers. As a result, my kings are always despicable with monikers like "the Killer" and "the Tyrant" and my campaign generals are always saintly.

I have used that thing where you surround an agent and then move a unit on it to kill it in order to slay all diplomats, spies, assasins, priests, and princesses that move into my territory because they were crowding up my provinces and it takes forever for me to move my agents

War for territorial expansion! Oh my! Please tell me you got PR guys to make it sound good right away!
Lol. Probably lame but I don't typically go to war unless I think the PR guys could really make it happen.
I regularly send off boatloads of undeserving family members to the mediterrainean. But other than that I dont do much evil really. In my current campaign as england, Ive been at peace for about 60 turns.

i use army dragnets to surround unwanted agents in my lands and then step on them with my general.
I'm not that evil...probably the worst I've done is get a faction (Scotland) eliminated and turn rebel by use of assassins to destroy the family line.
I declared war on the papacy and killed in battle 14 popes over a quarter of a century until the office was no longer filled
That's not evil :beam:

Good point. The whole 'you must capture 40+ regions' thing isn't conducive to morally praiseworthy behaviour ~:)

I should recomend some internet snake oil to you but we're fresh out.
I started an aggresive war in Mesopotamia against the will of 75% of my electorate just so I could secure valuable natural resources under the pretence of 'regime change' even though I am supposedly a devout Christian.
