Plagued by guesses of sandstorms and particle monsters, I'll reveal all of Caratacos' work here, but I won't say what it is yet. No one has gotten it exactly right yet though. But some have gotten close.

If I t'were hazard a guess, it would be some sort of heavy calvary, either of Lusotannian (err ... the spanish guys) or Geata (a.k.a. the Thracian/Dalmatians), and since we've recently had a Geata unit revealed, I'll go with Lusotanian.

Yes indeed BB, this was one of Caratacos' first images for us (the one that when he submitted it to us after that public Getai Lesser General thread was made) and it was the thing that made us immediately ask him to join up. :2thumbsup: Really helpful stuff to base units off of, and looks great for other uses too.

Now, on to the next stage - I'll give you all one guess as to what artist made this beauty for us. :grin:

a getai general? yes but the artist? i only know aymar de bois mauri in the lusotann preview (sorry for the spell) you guys should make a thread with some examples of every artist's units so we can recognize the style of every single artist...

but i could have missed a thread like this cause i cant read everythink... or it's just me that have a very bad memory:oops:

Though I initially had reservations about Xprime's style, that model and it's accompanying texture are works of art. I don't think it'll look out of place at all, either. A typically sexeh piece of concept art from Caratacos, too. :2thumbsup:
