a quick hi all

i just found my way over here from the rtw heaven forum. my primary interest is in modding, which i never did before last month. my best friend gave me rtw for xmas and i spent holiday messing around with a few of the text files.

anyhow- will post more later and such, but just spent the last two hours reading the mod section and now have to wolf down lunch before heading off to work.

thanks everybody. and rhythmic, i'm afraid that probably was a pun, as i am guilty of using it myself on another board where i'm a more senior member.:laugh4:

i'm really new to rtw. i'm starting with it before i try rtw-bi, and THEN i'll move on to mtw. i figured that is the best order to go in and my gaming needs are taken care of for quite a while!

as far as modding, i hadn't done any before getting rtw in december. what i'd like to do when i get caught up on work a bit is make some little mods to make the game a bit more challenging without radically altering it. but that is still going to be down the road a bit as i need to get my skills up a bit and also test how a few ideas play out a bit.

yes this certainly does seem to be the board for mods!!!

i started over at rtw heaven because the friend who got me the game sent me some links and that was the first board i came across and i figured it was the one he meant when he was talking about how cool the forum was. so there i stayed until i found my way over here because of a post on that board.

i like both, but this one has much much much more modding info.
