Since I'm new to EB. I don;t know if this has been asked. I know this is Beta. Is there anyway to load EB faster then it does for me? That's when I click on the EB ICON to start the game. When I click end turn it takes a long time to end. Not as fast has RTW or BI. I'm playing as the Romans. When I bribe a city or town the General dies. The cities or towns are not rioting. Plus when bribing. Why does counteroffer not work? I can not get the advisor to work. When I'm adding to my town or city. Or add for troops. I click on advisor. Nothing happens.

Hi,
Sadly there is no way of making EB load faster. You can clear up some system processes but otherwise nothing. In the future as more complex things are added I am sorry to say that they will probably get longer.

The cities and towns probably are not revolting as there are no troops available for recruitment in that province. Nasty bug, but, luckily, That can be fixed by a modification for EB in the Unofficial Mods Forum.

Counter offer not working during bribing is hardcoded and is from vanilla. However, when bribing, there is nothing to counter offer. Bribes are a private affair that the bribed faction does not know about. Henceforth there is nothing to counteroffer with.

In EB 0.8 it appears that the advisor was murdered by a band of assassins lead by Kull. Nah, the truth is that most advise that the advisor would give in vanilla is irrelevant to EB. For example Victoria, the annoying advisor, would advise that you build gladiators in a province - in EB there are no gladiators henceforth the advise is a pointless annoyance.

I hope this answers your questions, cheers!

Thanks for the reply. When they do update on EB they have to fix it. So your General don't die after you Bribe. The last one was a 4 Star. I hated to see him die.

We are aware of the bug, it's being looked at.

Great. Don't like losing all those Generals. After I pay all that money to bribe them.

No idea why they die. I don't play vanilla (2 years ago?), but some people have said that bribed generals often died there - I know not all bribed generals die in EB. Maybe just the ones in cities. They are immobile anyway though, so no big loss.
