Battle camera???

During battles I use mouse to operate the camera, but it's highly inconvenient for me that forward and backward it moves normally, and left and right it rotates. Is it possible to change the settings, so that I could strafe the map with mouse instead of rotating?

Easily changed once you launch the program. Under options, then key commands, or somesuch. You can then change rotate to strafe to arrows or whatever keys you wish. Then save. I also find the rotating to be annoying, but it is personal preference.

I think that on default settings if you move your mouse down to where the UI bar sits and then move your mouse to the right or left it will strafe left or right but above that it rotates.
