Do I specifically need a clean file of R:TW v. 1.5+ or can I place it in a file with BI installed?

O.o I've been looking for signs of this in a few threads (so I didn't have to post this) but I've only caught hints at it and none were solid or very reliable. I thought. So bare with me and my possibly stupid question.

If you have BI installed, EB will work fine. BI doesn't interfer with anything in the original. If you have BI1.6 then the original will be patched to 1.5 and you will be good to go.
